Nina's Trip to California
In February, 1936, one of Adam Fleckenstein's daughters, Nina, took a six month trip west from Illinois, to California. She chronicled her trip in a photo album. The pages from that album are listed below. Most have been scanned in gray to save downloading time, but I did some in color where Nina added color clippings. She admits in her writings much of it is out of order. From the photos it appears her travels took her to Salt Lake City, Northern California, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Several of the notes are written to Mari (Fleckenstein, wife of Vince).
